Heavy-Duty Wood Shredder Rotor | 35CrMnSiA High Toughness Cutting Assembly
Our wood shredder rotor is built for tough field clearing, designed to chip branches, brush and small logs into uniform wood chips.
The cutting blades adopt 35CrMnSiA (GB/T 3077‑2015) high-strength low-alloy steel. It is a medium-carbon ultra-high strength steel famous for excellent toughness and impact resistance, rather than simple wear-resistant steel. Compared with common 40Cr, 35CrMo and D2 tool steel, it shows unique advantages for rugged clearing work:
- Outstanding hardenability, high strength after heat treatment
- Strong anti-shock performance, resists chipping and cracking when hitting stones, soil and hard knots
- D2 steel delivers better pure abrasion resistance but is brittle under heavy impact and easy to chip; our 35CrMnSiA blades balance hardness and toughness perfectly for mixed field conditions
- Widely used for heavy-duty tillage cutters, crusher components, high-load pins and high-strength fasteners
This rotor is engineered for brush clearing, farmland renovation and wild land mowing. When you hit hidden rocks and debris during operation, the blades are far less likely to snap or chip. It steadily shreds woody vegetation into neat, even wood chips, suitable for mulching, biomass collection and land reclamation.
We have carefully arranged the spiral cutter layout on the rotor body. The spiral arrangement smooths cutting load, reduces instantaneous impact on the shaft, lowers vibration and lightens the burden on your power system. Matched with our remote-controlled crawler mower, it works reliably on slopes, rough terrain and unmanaged wasteland.
